MEDIA AWARD-Newspapers

The Texas Christmas Tree Growers Association would like to announce its 2009 Media Award. News articles which promote Texas Grown Christmas Trees during the holiday season should be submitted for consideration. The articles will be judged by a committee. They judge the collection based on the following criteria:

1.Promotion of real Texas grown Christmas trees
2. Fairness to all growers in the area
3.Visuals used in the article
4.Timing of the articles
5.Journalistic excellence

To make judging easier, please follow the criteria below when submitting your 2009 news article. Enter as many as you wish.

To submit articles for the award, place the following information in order on a 5x7 file card if known:

1. Name, Address and Circulation of the newspaper
2. Daily or Weekly or Monthly newspaper
3. Name and address of news reporter or person responsible at the paper for writing the article(s)
4. Your name, address and telephone number

News articles sent must be original, not photo copies of the original, and they must be received by June 1, 2010. NO EXCEPTIONS.
